Narrative Writing: Quick Sketch Organizer

This organizer can be used to create a rough sketch for narrative writing. After you watch the screencast you can follow the model by completing the steps below:

1- Sketch a beginning, middle, and end.

 2- Jot down the key details. Remember, you do not need full sentences and details here- they will come next!

 3- Add some events for your introduction and conclusion that came before and after your event. Hint: "Keep it close!" That means these before and after events should be things that occurred DIRECTLY before and DIRECTLY after the events in your beginning/middle/end. These are not events that occurred later or a previous day!
